What AI model powers FitOut Insider?

We use Claude by Anthropic, one of the most capable AI model families available. Every tool is built around deep, domain-specific prompts written by a Senior PM with 20 years in UK construction. The AI understands JCT/NEC4 contracts, CDM 2015, HGCRA payment law, and fit-out workflows, so you get expert-level output, not generic AI.

How many AI requests do I get?

There is no monthly limit on any plan. Every plan connects your own Anthropic API key (BYOK), so you pay Anthropic directly at cost, nothing routes through us or gets marked up. Each request = one tool use (one RAMS, one programme, one payment app), and you can see your own request count in your account to reconcile against your Anthropic bill.

What is BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)?

Every plan connects your own Anthropic API key from console.anthropic.com, it takes about a minute and we test it works before you leave the screen. You pay Anthropic directly at their published rates, with full control over spend and no monthly request limit.

Is my data secure? Where is it stored?

All data is stored on Supabase with European servers. Connections are encrypted end-to-end (TLS 1.3). Saved documents and project registers are retained for as long as your account is active, see our Privacy Policy for full retention periods. Your project data, documents and outputs are never used to train AI models, by Anthropic policy, API data is not used for training. We do not share or sell your data.

Is FitOut Insider GDPR compliant?

Yes. We operate under UK GDPR (post-Brexit) and EU GDPR. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. We act as data controller for account data and data processor for project data you upload. A Data Processing Agreement forms part of the standard terms accepted by every customer on every plan.

Does it work on mobile and tablet, on site?

Yes. FitOut Insider is fully mobile-responsive and installable as a PWA on iOS and Android. Add it to your home screen for an app-like experience. Toolbox talks, site inspections and snagging work great on phone; the Gantt programme is best on a larger screen.

Does it work offline?

Accepted Answer

The PWA caches the interface for offline access. AI generation needs an internet connection, but you can review previously generated documents offline. Site inspection checklists can be filled offline and synced when you are back online.

Can my whole team use it?

Solo is a single-seat plan. Team covers 2-9 seats and Business covers 10-19 seats, both with a shared workspace and admin dashboard. For 20 or more seats, contact us about Enterprise.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, cancel any time from account settings or the billing portal. No long-term contracts or cancellation fees. Your subscription continues until the end of the billing period.

How does the 14-day free trial work?

Accepted Answer

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. A card is required at signup but is not charged until day 15 - use the tools on a live project for the full 14 days, and cancel any time before day 15 if it's not for you. No charge if you cancel in time.
